It’s important for children to be active both physically and mentally, as it promotes overall well-being and development. At our Die Ruiter, we encourage students to explore a range of activities that challenge both their minds and bodies. Whether it’s the strategic thinking required in chess, the teamwork and coordination of hockey, or the strength and determination needed in rugby, our extramural programs are designed to help kids thrive.
Our sports program includes hockey, cricket, rugby, and netball, which not only promote physical fitness but also teach valuable life skills such as teamwork, leadership, and perseverance. These team sports encourage students to work together, support one another, and strive for success on and off the field.
In addition to our athletic offerings, we provide a mental challenge with chess, an engaging and strategic game that sharpens problem-solving abilities, enhances concentration, and fosters critical thinking.
By participating in these diverse activities, students at Die Ruiter can discover their passions, develop new skills, and enjoy a well-rounded educational experience that prepares them for future success.
